Ironwork's explorations into ambient IDM continue with a new direction for 2022 - Mercurial. Inspired by Carbon Based Lifeforms and Boards of Canada, nostalgic soundscapes and broken rhythms provide a mellow backdrop for study, work or sleep. The Convergence EP combines Novation, Moog, Waldorf, Dune and Vital synthesizers with the warmth of tape cassette and the coolness of 80s 16 bit chorus for a reminiscence-tinged yet groovy stroll down memory lane.
